The service

ColorBlend.app lets you mix two colors in the browser, read a contrast result, and copy theme code. It also publishes a library of gradient recipes with scales and code snippets. The service is free to use.

We can change, pause, or remove parts of the site. A gradient page or an export format may change as the tool improves. We do not promise that every page will stay online forever.

Using the colors and code

You may use the palettes, gradients, scales, and code snippets you copy from ColorBlend.app in your own projects, including commercial ones. You do not need to credit the site, though you are welcome to.

You may not present the site itself, its name, or its writing as your own product. You may not copy the pages in bulk to build a competing directory of the same recipes.

Contrast and color accuracy

The contrast badge and the numbers on a gradient page are calculated for the theme shown here. They are a guide, not a certificate. Type size, font weight, transparency, and the background in your own interface can change the ratio. You are responsible for checking the finished UI against the rules that apply to your product.

Colors can look different across screens. The values you copy are the ones to use. Do not rely on a screenshot alone.

Acceptable use

Use the site for its purpose. Do not:

• break or overload the site, or try to get around limits that protect it
• scrape it so heavily that other people cannot use it
• use it to distribute malware or to mislead people about who operates ColorBlend.app
• attempt to access data that is not yours

We may block traffic that does these things.

Third-party services

A link from this site to another website is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for that website’s content. Our privacy policy describes what information a visit can create.

Disclaimer

The site is provided “as is.” We work to keep the color math and the contrast checks accurate, but we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular product, accessibility audit, or legal requirement. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, ColorBlend.app and the people who operate it are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or the cost of rebuilding a theme, arising from your use of the site. If a law does not allow that limit, our liability is limited to the smallest amount that law permits.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply. For a question about these terms, email support@colorblend.app.
